Introducing AP-1, a new type of shale inhibitor designed for high-performance water-based drilling fluids. AP-1 is a poly-amine-modified polyether polyols shale inhibitor that offers excellent cationic absorbability, inhibitory capacity, and long-lasting action. It effectively overcomes issues caused by cations, such as flocculation and increased water loss.

 

By incorporating amines compounds into its molecular chain, AP-1 provides superior shale inhibition with a unique anti-collapse mechanism. Its special structure allows it to firmly absorb on clay, reducing clay layer spacing to stabilize boreholes and prevent water intrusion into formations.

 

The product can be easily added to various water-based drilling fluids, with a recommended dosage of 0.5-1.0% (v/v).
